Wilcannia River Radio has now been relocated to Bourke St. at the top end of Reid St. in the old CDEP shed.

Radio 103.1 FM services the Wilcannia town and surrounding area. It is sponsored by Regional Enterprise Development  Institute and is run by the local aboriginal community. 

The current team of DJ/staff are Brendan, "Shimmer", Robert, James, Eric and Dolly.

They welcome travellers or anyone who would like to drop in, have a chat, and experience live radio in the outback.

Weaving with Clair (2nd of 2 days)

Come along and join Claire Bates in a weaving course at the women's half-way house.

Light lunch will be provided and transport to and from will be available for those wanting it.

This course runs over two days (Wednesday and Thursday).

Those who attended last week's course can also come along and get additional instruction or do more weaving.
