This week we were accepted to present at the Dare to Lead National Conference in Canberra on Friday 11^th May.

On behalf of St. Therese’s Community School, I will be presenting to the conference on the theme of ‘getting some of our students to school can be difficult but what needs to happen when they are there to ensure their successful engagement in education?’ This is an exciting opportunity to showcase the great work we are doing at St. Therese’s.

With only 4 schools nationally accepted to present, it is affirming and speaks volume to the great work our students, staff, parents and community are doing to engage and support the young learners of Wilcannia. Aunty Janine and Miss Veronica will be attending the conference with me. I will keep you updated and feedback to you when the conference is over.
