Louth Field Day + Topar Camp Draft

Well, what an action filled week end! The Louth Field Day from all accounts went off really well on Saturday, good crowd and heaps of stands.

The Golf week end at Sunset Strip also attracted 28 players and was enjoyed by all there. And James McClure from Netallie has taken out the Wilcannia gift once again after winning the inaugural race last year.

A really good crowd was in attendance, with Trade Stalls and demonstrations, and the local girls, RFS, and SES keeping food and drinks up to all.

The Driver Reviver caravan saw about 100 travellers (including 1 from France) drop in for a cuppa over the 3 days, busy week end.

Now, don’t forget to let our travellers know the Topar Camp Draft is coming up next, on the 28th. If any town has something on in between please let me know.

Going out a little bit further we have a Race Meeting at Muswellbrook on Thursday 3rd. for those going that way, and then on the weekend of 11-12-13th. all roads lead to Tilpa for their big Fishing Competition week end.

A request to the Farm Stays and close towns please, if you have anyone travelling to Wilcannia could you give them some of your brochures to drop off at Miss Barretts Coffee Shop. The stock pile is a bit low, and we need to promote you all.

Just about winds up the chat for this week, enjoy the fantastic weather, drop me a line, love to hear from you, Cheers Bill Elliott  WCTA.
