Fire alerts, Silverton and more

Some useless information!  48.2 here yesterday and 35 today, isn’t that breeze great. We are certainly thinking of you people in the Dunedoo, Cassilis area with all those fires, reinforcements left this arvo from Far West NPWS, our thoughts are with you all.

As was last week, very little going on anywhere as yet. James is keeping the Silverton Pub rocking each week end with really great music.  Beccy and Libbie are singing there next Saturday night if you can make it.  Otherwise toodle out the next Saturday evening and listen to fanny and Catherine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Then of course if you’re back Cobar way, then poke along to the “Golfie” on the 18th. and listen to Fleetwood Mac and Abba. Great night out.  Then the 24th. brings you Troy Cassar-Daley at  Club Mudgee, down in the wine country.

As I said last week listen out for our fabulous radio stations, keep cool, the heat hasn’t finished yet. Keep that water up and take time to say g’day to a stranger!

Till next week, when I can hopefully give you more news, take care,   Bill Elliott  WCTA.
